CIC Stand-Alone Credit Report

Expand your lending visibility beyond traditional credit files

Expand your lending visibility beyond traditional credit files

Thin-file borrowers — those without a traditional bank history — represent a significant growth opportunity in the Philippines. But they’re often overlooked by traditional credit checks.

Available through the TransUnion® Multi-Tenant Core Connect platform, the CIC Stand-Alone Credit Report allows you to access Credit Information Corporation (CIC) data for borrowers who fall outside conventional credit profiles.

HOW IT DRIVES BUSINESS GROWTH

Approve more borrowers

Expand visibility to include private financing, cooperatives, microfinance and utilities to better assess thin-file applicants.

Make informed risk decisions

Access detailed borrower details, including credit exposure across multiple contract types and critical event flags like legal actions or fraud.

Reduce manual effort and decisioning time

Choose from real-time API integration, a secure web portal for on-demand inquiries, or batch processing for high-volume records.

Streamline regulatory compliance

Meet your inquiry obligations as a Covered Entity under RA 9510.

Eligibility

The CIC Stand-Alone Credit Report is available to Accessing Entities that have completed CIC accreditation and nominated TransUnion as their Special Accessing Entity (SAE) — subject to regulatory and onboarding requirements.
